Position: Registered Nurse: Part Time with Extendicare
Location: Ridgetown

Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of nursing tasks, from assessing resident care needs to coordinating care plans with families and interdisciplinary teams. Attention to compliance, safety, and effective communication are crucial in your daily duties at Extendicare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely completion of residents' care assessments

• Participate in care conferences and scheduling

• Administer medications complying with legal standards

• Supervise and educate residents and families about care

• Oversee medication administration by Unregulated Care Providers

Requirements:

• Active RN registration in applicable Province/State

• Prior experience in gerontology or long-term care

• Proficient in time management and communication

• Ability to delegate effectively to care providers

• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
