Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care

Location: Surrey East

Seeking a passionate Licensed Practical Nurse dedicated to long-term care. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance resident lives and promote dignity in aging.

This LPN role requires commitment to resident independence and well-being. You will perform nursing interventions, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care, always with empathy and compassion. Working closely with residents and their families, you will ensure that care plans meet individual needs with the utmost professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing resident assessments and timely treatments

• Participate in interdisciplinary care plan development

• Administer medications per regulations and scope of practice

• Communicate effectively with residents and families

• Document incidents and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Emergency First Aid and CPR/First Aid Certification

• Graduate from a recognized LPN program

• Competent in electronic documentation

• Previous long-term care experience preferred
