Sechelt Hospital Registered Nurse Position

Location: Sechelt

Become a Registered Nurse at Vancouver Coastal Health in the Emergency unit at Sechelt Hospital, British Columbia. Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment to various patient demographics.

This role requires you to provide essential emergency care and make critical assessments of patient needs. You will stabilize trauma victims while collaborating with other health professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize emergency care needs of patients

• Provide critical response to multi-trauma emergencies

• Collaborate within an emergency response team

• Maintain and advance nursing competencies and skills

• Participate in committees and research initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Completed advanced emergency nursing program or recent experience

• Strong ability to adapt and manage unpredictable scenarios

• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities

• Ability to perform physically demanding nursing tasks
