This temporary, in-person position at Morris General Hospital entails planning, implementing, and assessing educational initiatives in infection control and nursing practices. Engage with healthcare professionals to promote a culture of safety and continuous learning, while developing effective educational resources and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead educational sessions for healthcare staff
• Create and implement training programs for infection prevention
• Develop policies and educational materials from current research
• Analyze and enhance existing educational initiatives
• Identify professional development needs of nursing staff
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years’ nursing experience in relevant settings
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
• Current registration with Manitoba's College of Registered Nurses
• Certification in CPR as per Heart and Stroke guidelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
