LPN in Recovery

Position: LPN Role in Recovery at EHN Canada
Location: East Kootenays (Fernie)

Join EHN Canada as a Licensed Practical Nurse and contribute to meaningful mental health and addiction recovery efforts. Deliver hands-on nursing and support services in our Detox and addictions residential programs.

In your role at EHN Canada, you'll be a key player on an interdisciplinary team focused on impactful recovery for clients. Responsibilities include administering medications, conducting nursing assessments, and actively participating in various therapeutic interventions. Your nursing practice will be essential to helping clients regain their health and hope through compassionate support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments for patient intake and discharge processes

• Administer medications following established protocols

• Provide emergency response and First Aid when necessary

• Keep accurate records of patient care and treatment

• Work in tandem with a diverse medical team to maintain care quality

Requirements:

• Current and valid RN/LPN License in British Columbia

• Trauma-informed training preferred but not mandatory

• proficient verbal and written communication skills

• Must pass a criminal record check

• Strong adherence to care protocols and empathy
