Registered Nurse - Critical Care in BC

Location: Sechelt

Vancouver Coastal Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Sechelt Hospital. Relocation benefits may apply, inviting you to live on the stunning Sunshine Coast.

As an ICU RN, you will provide emergency nursing care to critically ill clients and engage in response teams for multi-trauma stabilization. The role requires strong collaboration with other healthcare providers to enhance care outcomes. Additionally, you will maintain and advance your nursing knowledge and demonstrate leadership within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in high-pressure medical scenarios

• Manage multi-trauma patients during emergencies

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient care

• Contribute to committees and research projects

• Demonstrate nursing leadership and expertise

Requirements:

• Must be a practicing RN registered with BCCNM

• Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program is preferred

• Two years of related nursing experience required

• Extensive knowledge of client-centered nursing care

• Proficient in managing critical situations in nursing
