Contribute to holistic community health as a Primary Care Registered Nurse with Squamish Nation. Deliver culturally safe nursing services while advancing individual and community wellness initiatives.
As a vital member of the Yúustway Health and Wellness Team, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to Squamish Nation Members.
Your role involves conducting health assessments, triage, and creating individualized care plans while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-centred primary care nursing services
• Conduct assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Perform nursing procedures like wound care and immunizations
• Manage chronic diseases and provide health education
• Advocate and coordinate care with healthcare partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current registration with the BCCNM
• Minimum three years of nursing experience
• Knowledge of electronic medical records
• Commitment to cultural safety and Indigenous health
