Home Care LPN - Casual Relief Position

Location: North Interlake (Stonewall)

Become a Licensed Practical Nurse with the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority, focusing on Home Care. This casual relief role requires professionalism and the ability to adapt to diverse health care needs.

In this position at Eriksdale Wellness Centre, you will function within a multidisciplinary team under a Home Care Nursing Supervisor’s guidance. Your responsibilities will include providing integrated care, meeting varied patient needs, and ensuring a compassionate approach in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement nursing activities assigned by the Home Care Nursing Supervisor

• Collaborate with team members for effective care delivery

• Uphold the professional code of ethics in practice

• Respond competently to atypical daily challenges

• Utilize personal transport to visit patients in the region

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Manitoba

• IV Therapy and Basic Life Support certifications required

• At least one year of nursing experience, ideally in Home Care

• Valid Manitoba driver’s license required for travel

• Effective oral and written communication skills
