This Per Diem position at UNC Medical Center provides vital care within a 31-bed acute medicine unit. You will assist patients with daily activities and observational duties under the supervision of nurses or physicians. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures
• Document and report significant patient condition changes
• Provide direct personal care like bathing and dressing
• Reinforce patient education and document understanding
• Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies in patient areas
Requirements:
• Certified Nursing Assistant I in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Six months of nursing assistant experience preferred
• Fluent in verbal and written English
• Basic computer skills required
