Family Practice Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Sherwood Park West

Deliver primary care in Fort Saskatchewan as a Licensed Practical Nurse, using patient education and chronic disease support skills. This temporary role is full-time at 1.0 FTE.
Sherwood Park-Strathcona County Primary Care Network seeks an experienced LPN for a family medicine clinic. You will work with physicians and an interdisciplinary team. Care includes clinical services, preventative screening, care coordination, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care within LPN scope
Administer immunizations and injections
Perform wound care and dressing changes
Provide diabetes education and prenatal support
Maintain timely electronic medical record documentation
Requirements:
Current Alberta CLHA registration in good standing
Current Basic Life Support certification
Minimum three years of nursing experience
Strong evidence-based nursing practice understanding
Experience in collaborative healthcare environments
Apply primary care, patient education, and clinical judgment skills while supporting coordinated services for Fort Saskatchewan patients.
