Registered Nurse Intermediate Nursery

Location: Whitby Region (Gormley)

Support newborn and family-centered care as a Registered Nurse at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering, working temporary part time across 12-hour shifts.
This Registered Nurse serves Intermediate Nursery Level 2 within Women and Children's Healthcare. The practice includes nursing process, multidisciplinary collaboration, professional standards, and cross-training to Paediatrics. The schedule includes days, nights, and weekends, subject to change, for approximately 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide family-centered patient care using the nursing process
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Health Care Team
Maintain competence and professionalism under College standards
Complete cross-training to Paediatrics
Support related duties in the Women's and Children's Program
Requirements:
Hold College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
Maintain Reflective Practice Standards outlined by the CNO
Hold current Basic Life Support certification from Heart and Stroke
Obtain NRP certification within three months of hire
Complete or pursue the required NICU Level III course
Apply nursing process, neonatal preparation, and multidisciplinary collaboration as a Registered Nurse at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering.
