Qualifications

A combination of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements in the care and maintenance of plants, vegetable and fruit plants;
First Aid/CPR;
Food Safe.

Duties

This job requires ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of garden work.

Requires ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and bend or stoop repeatedly over time; must be able to work on weekends.

Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops such as beans, onions, peas and potatoes, etc.

Set up operating farm machinery such as generator, tractor, rototiller, and tree pruner.

Assist in growing vegetables in greenhouse to produce out-of-season crops.

Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on all farm machinery.

Assist in designing, planting, and maintaining flowerbeds.

Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless service.
