Join the Alberta Parks team as a Park Maintenance Crew Lead in the stunning Peace River District. Oversee maintenance tasks, support staff, and ensure the upkeep of beautiful provincial parks.

This full-time role involves leading Maintenance Service Workers in providing excellent care and operational duties at Queen Elizabeth and Notikewin Provincial Parks. As the Crew Lead, you will also assist with administrative tasks, training, and various maintenance projects. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure the parks remain safe and beautiful for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate park maintenance crew activities

• Assist with equipment maintenance and inspections

• Lead trail crews and oversee scheduling tasks

• Manage supply inventory within budget constraints

• Conduct staff training and performance assessments

Requirements:

• High school education and 2 years of experience

• Class 5 Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract

• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C/AED certification

• Experience with hand and power tools

• Exceptional communication skills in customer service
