In this influential position, you will work collaboratively with teams to improve flock health, hatchability, and overall production quality. Conduct flock health visits, provide training, and guide programs that prioritize animal welfare and proactive food safety. You will also oversee compliance initiatives that align with industry standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide veterinary services and health guidance for poultry

• Conduct health visits and diagnose flock conditions

• Support hatchery operations with technical expertise

• Implement antimicrobial stewardship and welfare programs

• Ensure regulatory compliance with health standards

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine; eligible for Ontario licensure

• Experience or specialization in the field of poultry

• American College of Poultry Veterinarians certification advantageous

• Insightful communication and team-oriented approach

• Strong analytical skills and an ability to solve problems
