Davey Tree Expert Co. is seeking a Climbing Arborist in Niagara, Ontario. This role emphasizes hands-on tree management and public engagement in a year-round position.

As a Climbing Arborist, you’ll handle tree pruning and maintenance at various heights while ensuring safety standards are met. Candidates should possess at least one year of climbing experience along with strong identification skills for trees and shrubs. You will operate essential equipment, including chainsaws and aerial lifts, all while working closely with clients and team members to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prune and maintain trees safely from climbs

• Install support cables and lightning protection

• Manage and operate tools like chippers and lifts

• Support the team with site setup and cleanup

• Follow all manufacturer and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• At least 1 year climbing experience is required

• Certified Arborist or working towards certification

• Proficient in tree and shrub identification

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs

• Valid driver’s license; 5-ton vehicle capability a plus
