The Town of Tisdale Recreation and Parks Department is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks and Recreation Worker to join our team for the 2026 season.

• Report directly to the Foreman and the Director of Recreation & Parks.
• Maintenance and upkeep of parks, green spaces, trails, cemetery grounds, and recreational facilities
• Operation and basic maintenance of department equipment and machinery
• Lawn care, landscaping, and groundskeeping duties
• Assisting with set-up and tear-down of recreational events and facilities
• Ensuring public spaces are safe, clean, and well maintained
• Work collaboratively with all staff to meet operational goals
• Perform additional duties and provide additional support as assigned.

• It is expected that ALL applicants will include copies of all current certifications and awards when they apply.
• Valid drivers license and drivers abstract
• Possess and demonstrate sound mechanical knowledge in various types of equipment
• Responsible, self-motivated, team-oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety

• Job Status Seasonal Temporary Full-Time commencing as soon as possible and ending October 2, 2026-
• Applicant(s) may be considered for future full time positions
• Wage Range $20.00/hr. (benefits as per Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 777-02)
