Gardener helper | LMIA approved

Les Cultures Tournesol inc. is located at Saint-Marc-des-Carrières, QC. The company is actively seeking applicants for the role of Gardener helper. The applicant should be a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The selected candidate will be expected to join and start the work at the earliest. It will be a Seasonal employment or Full time job. The candidate must work on the Day shift.

LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) has approved the Gardener helper position.

• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• The candidate must cut grass.
• The candidate must lay sod or seed.
• The candidate must water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

• The candidate should be fluent in French language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty and hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

• The candidate should work in the landscape maintenance division, which is the art and profession of keeping a landscape healthy, clean, safe, and attractive, usually in a garden, yard, park, institutional setting, or estate.
• The candidate must work in parks and recreational sites.
• The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.

• The candidate must have experience using chainsaws, small engine equipment, tractors, tractor mowers, and weed trimmers/edgers.

• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
