Arborist Climber Position in Ontario

As a Climbing Arborist, your daily responsibilities will involve safely ascending and managing tree canopies, requiring a minimum of one year of climbing experience. You'll use various tools to perform pruning, deadwood removal, and other essential tasks.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring that both safety and quality standards are upheld in tree management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute tree pruning, thinning, and deadwood removal

• Install necessary supports and protection systems

• Maintain and operate all tree care equipment effectively

• Assist the team in job site preparation and cleanup

• Comply with all safety and operational regulations

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of climbing experience

• Willingness to achieve Certified Arborist status

• Strong skills in tree and knot identification

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more

• Valid driver’s license; experience with a 5-ton vehicle beneficial
