Apiary Technician

Position: Full-Time Apiary Technician Role
Location: Eastern Saskatchewan (Melfort)

Join the agricultural sector as a Full-Time Apiary Technician. Work in a rural setting managing bee colonies and honey production while handling physically demanding tasks.

This seasonal role requires dedicated individuals ready to maintain bee yards and keep equipment operational. Responsibilities include detecting bee diseases, harvesting and packaging honey, and managing operations for a thriving honey farm. If you're experienced in the apiary field and enjoy working independently, this is the position for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment

• Detect and treat bee diseases effectively

• Harvest, extract, and package honey and beeswax

• Manage bee colonies for optimal production

• Oversee honey extraction processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in apiary management

• Ability to handle heavy loads in various conditions

• Strong organizational skills and judgement

• Physical capability for demanding tasks

• Authorization to work in Canada is mandatory
