• The candidate must apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products.

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must have a provincial license or certification to apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides.
• The candidate should be client focused.
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in hot conditions.

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work from a remote location, the practice of employees doing their jobs from a location other than a central office operated by the employer.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work on the farm.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in a commercial setting that produces a workforce full of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.

• The candidate must have experience operating seed drills and lawn mowers.

• The applicant must undergo a thorough drug test and a driving record check (abstract).

• The candidate must have their own transportation.
• The candidate must be willing to travel frequently.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The employer will cover the candidate’s learning/training expenses and provide on-site housing options.
