Manufacturing Science Manager at BIOVECTRA

Location: Cobequid Bay north shore (Springhill)

Lead advancements in pharmaceutical manufacturing with BIOVECTRA, part of Agilent. This role focuses on technology transfer, process engineering, and team leadership to enhance drug substance projects.

As a Manufacturing Science Manager, you’ll guide process design from bench to scale-up, ensuring equipment suitability and lifecycle alignment. With a dual site operation in Windsor, NS, and Charlottetown, PEI, you'll collaborate across functions to execute project deliverables and maintain high standards in the technology transfer process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process design and scale-up activities

• Enforce best practices for technology transfer

• Perform detailed process engineering analyses

• Collaborate on Critical Process Parameters and Quality Attributes

• Manage and develop department personnel

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field

• 2 years of leadership experience required

• 6 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing background

• Experience with drug substance projects (Biologics)

• Basic understanding of quality/regulatory standards
