Elevate safety standards as Nutrien's Coordinator of Safety Operations, managing essential safety equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role supports factory safety protocols on-site.

In your role with Nutrien, you will coordinate the maintenance and tracking of various safety equipment, including fire extinguishers and gas detectors. You will leverage your five-plus years of experience in safety roles to perform inspections, maintain records, and serve as a safety presence in the field. Computer proficiency and a deep understanding of safety programs are pivotal for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and maintain safety equipment records meticulously

• Perform safety inspections and minor equipment repairs

• Manage site radio inventory systemically

• Supervise the Personal Gas Detection initiatives

• Coordinate equipment service procurements effectively

Requirements:

• High School Diploma is essential

• Over 5 years of safety equipment experience

• Familiarity with industrial safety protocols is useful

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate ladders

• Skilled in common Office applications and database management
