Quality Control Technician at Aqualitas

Location: Mainland east shore (Lunenburg)

As a vital member of the quality assurance team, you will guarantee all cannabis products meet Aqualitas’s stringent quality and regulatory standards. You will coordinate with various departments, adapt company policies, and focus on compliance with the Cannabis Act and Quality Assurance protocols.

Your role ensures every product achieves the highest quality from harvest through to packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process checks during all production stages

• Execute pre-operation checklists for rooms and equipment

• Assess production documentation and implement corrective actions

• Collaborate with teams to enhance production efficiencies

• Ensure rigorous compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology

• 2-3 years in a regulated manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and GPP/GMP

• Familiar with calibration and monitoring equipment

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
