Quality Assurance Specialist Afternoon Shift

Location: Milverton

Wesbell is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist for the afternoon shift at our Milverton, Ontario facility. This role focuses on ensuring all steel products meet quality standards and specifications.

In this full-time permanent position, you’ll maintain and enhance our Quality Management System, verifying compliance with welding, layout, and measurement standards. Your responsibilities include checking incoming and outgoing steel parts, ensuring accuracy against engineering drawings, and organizing shipments to the galvanizer efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify steel quality against customer specifications

• Inspect incoming and outgoing steel from vendors

• Organize paperwork for galvanizer shipments

• Maintain safe and organized work conditions

• Assist the QA leadhand with quality checks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Experience in steel fabrication is essential

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Familiarity with structural steel drawings and QA processes

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
