Quality Control Lead at Skeena Gold

Elevate standards in the Assay Lab at Skeena Gold + Silver as a Quality Control Lead. This role focuses on implementing quality management systems and ensuring compliance with industry benchmarks.

Reporting to the Assay Laboratory Superintendent, the QC Lead develops and oversees the QMS, ensuring all lab operations align with ISO 17025 standards. To enhance efficiency, you'll manage the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and support daily quality control activities. Collaborate with diverse lab staff, promoting a strong safety culture while maintaining documentation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain quality management systems in the lab

• Oversee daily calibration and validation of analytical instruments

• Manage employee training programs to ensure compliance

• Conduct internal audits and prepare for external inspections

• Review and approve production data based on quality metrics

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or related field with 7 years in a lab

• Proficiency in LIMS software and analytical tools

• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality control processes

• 5-7 years of relevant experience required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
