Full Time, Permanent Pacific Cove Properties is a BC-owned and operated property management and development company providing rental accommodation to almost 3,000 families and individuals in communities throughout British Columbia, including Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan.
Role Overview We are looking for an Assistant Community Manager to join the on-site team at one of our established properties within Victoria, BC.Working closely with the Resident Manager, you will help keep the community running smoothly while delivering a consistent, responsive experience for residents. This hands-on role brings together building operations, resident relations, leasing, and tenancy administration within a large, professionally managed rental community.
Key Responsibilities Build positive resident relationships and respond promptly and professionally to questions, concerns, and day-to-day issues
Deliver a consistent resident experience throughout the tenancy, from initial inquiry and move-in through to move-out Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnovers
Monitor resident accounts, support rent collection processes, and follow up on outstanding balances
Complete minor maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs with vendors as needed
Participate in regular building inspections and prepare required reports
Respond to rental inquiries, conduct suite showings, and support the marketing of available homes to help maintain occupancy
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenancy records, documentation, and internal systems
Ensure work is completed in accordance with company standards and BC's Residential Tenancy Act Provide regular operational updates and reporting to the Resident Manager and head office
What You Bring Experience in residential building operations, leasing, property management, or a related customer-facing environment
Experience supporting resident relations, rent collection, and day-to-day building operations
Working knowledge of BC's Residential Tenancy Act Ability to complete minor maintenance tasks and identify when vendor support is required
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling resident matters
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with property management or CRM systems is considered an asset
