Position: Full-Time Molecular Biology Technician Position

Join a pioneering research team as a Plant Molecular Biology Technician, located in Stayner, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on both tissue culture and molecular analysis within plant transformations.

In this role, you will manage sterile cultures and perform advanced molecular techniques, including Agrobacterium-mediated transformations. A relevant Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of hands-on experience are ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute tissue culture and regeneration protocols

• Assist with DNA/RNA extraction from plant tissues

• Conduct molecular analysis using PCR techniques

• Keep precise records of cultures in ERP system

• Communicate findings in R&D discussions

Requirements:

• Educational background in Plant Biology or related field

• Preferred 1-2 years in molecular biology labs

• Skilled in conducting precise lab procedures
