Field Technician

Position: ERM Field Technician Opportunity
Location: Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Embark on an adventure in archaeology! ERM is seeking Field Technicians for its Whitehorse/Mayo, YT team in a full-time, limited-term capacity focusing on outdoor fieldwork.

You will play a crucial role in conducting surveys and assisting archaeologists with data collection, while adhering to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in archaeology and a relevant academic background, supporting a productive team atmosphere during field assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in both survey and shovel testing efforts

• Gather and assist with archaeological data collection

• Work collaboratively to achieve set goals

• Travel to various terrains and work outdoors

• Follow a rotating schedule of two weeks on, two weeks off

Requirements:

• Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is preferred

• 0–3 years of experience in archaeological work

• Awareness of impact assessment protocols

• Field school experience highly regarded

• Flexibility to work shifts and stay on-site during assignments
