Join the team at the Plant and Seed Technology Access Centre, supporting vital land reclamation and reforestation projects. Your work will feature seed collection, extraction, and greenhouse activities while also collaborating with Indigenous communities for tree planting efforts. Ideal for students in Biological or Environmental Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field-based seed collection in northern Alberta

• Perform laboratory seed extraction and germination tests

• Engage in tree planting efforts with local Indigenous groups

• Assist in plant care and propagation in the greenhouse

• Complete data entry and additional tasks as required

Requirements:

• Committed full-time from July 2026 to December 2026

• Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and driving experience

• Basic knowledge of plant identification and gardening

• Physically fit for outdoor work in varying conditions
