Join Thumbtack as a Mixed-Methods Experience Researcher to advocate for customers and professionals. Utilize qualitative and quantitative research to shape product strategies in a dynamic environment.

We'll integrate your research expertise into our product teams, focusing on the pro-facing side of Thumbtack's marketplace. You'll conduct studies from foundational discovery to tactical evaluation, ensuring insights drive product decisions. In this role, you will launch a new product while using AI tools throughout the research lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently scope and execute mixed-method studies

• Understand pros' needs for successful business tools

• Transform ambiguity into clear research questions

• Utilize AI tools for research efficiency and analysis

• Collaborate with product and design teams for impactful insights

Requirements:

• 5+ years in applied research, degree in behavioral science

• Strong in both qualitative and quantitative research methods

• Proficient in research tools like Qualtrics and dscout

• Hands-on experience building AI tools for research

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
