Become a Permit Archaeologist or Crew Lead with Ember Archaeology, supporting projects across northern Alberta. Guide survey crews and engage in artifact analysis in this active field role.
Ember Archaeology, part of Tree Time Services, seeks candidates with a Master’s Degree in Archaeology or related fields. Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 12 months’ experience in Cultural Resource Management and be ready for physically demanding work. Responsibilities will include leading crews under supervision and assisting in excavations, making this a vital role in archaeological conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead survey crews on large archaeological projects
• Support mitigative excavations as a senior hand
• Analyze artifacts and assist with permit reporting
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Archaeology or Anthropology
• 12 months Cultural Resource Management experience
• Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
• Physically fit for demanding outdoor work
• Valid safety tickets including First Aid
