Location: Ridgetown

This position, running from September to December 2026, offers a unique opportunity for candidates with post-secondary education looking to gain hands-on experience in agricultural research. Under close supervision, you will perform basic tasks while learning essential research techniques in soybean cultivation and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct harvesting of soybean plots
• Eliminate off types from research breeding
• Oversee the upkeep of field trials
• Process and prepare research materials for analysis
• Enter research data into databases
Requirements:
• Completed 1 year of post-secondary education
• Experience in outdoor settings valued but not essential
• Ability to adhere to prescribed procedures
• Effective communication skills within a team
• Openness to feedback and learning opportunities
Contribute to meaningful agricultural research efforts at the University of Guelph in Ridgetown.
