What you’ll do:

Embark on a journey through time as a seasonal worker at Lang Pioneer Village Museum, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering an immersive living history experience of exceptional quality!

This dynamic seasonal role invites individuals to be one of the faces of the Museum, actively participating in customer service and making each visitor's experience truly memorable.

Interpret History:
Engage visitors through interpretations to the public of 19th century residences and businesses, including live demonstrations of historic crafts, cooking, baking, trades & activities.

Ensure Authenticity:
Wear era-appropriate attire and receive training on heritage demonstrations and trades to create an immersive living history experience.

Interact with the Public:
Conduct tours and participate in heritage programming, for both small and large groups of visitors, and take on tasks within historical buildings, retail spaces, and food services areas.

  • Behind the Scenes Tasks:
    Assisting with cleaning duties required in all the different buildings and helping with any tasks required for special events.

    In accordance with County Policy, a Vulnerable Sector Check that is acceptable to the County will be required as a condition of employment.
