We are hiring for a Full-Time Butcher with a wage range of $17.00 - $22.00 at our location in Peace River, AB.

• Cut and package meat products
• Cut beef carcasses, sides, and quarters
• Cut, trim, grind, weigh, and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Stock and maintain shelves and displays
• Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Prepare special orders as per customer’s request
• Interact with customers to explain various meat cuts and recipes
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience

• Knowledge of different cuts and preparation of meat (beef, pork, poultry, etc.)
• Experience as a butcher is preferred
• Experience breaking down beef carcasses is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
