Make a difference at the Salvation Army Hanover Thrift Store as a Thrift Store Clerk. Engage with customers, sort donations, and help manage store operations in this full-time role.
This position requires a motivated individual to assist customers, sort incoming products, and contribute to retail operations. Successful candidates should possess experience in cash handling and have strong interpersonal skills, ensuring that donations are processed efficiently and stock is organized. Flexible scheduling, from Tuesday to Saturday, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with donation unloading and sorting effectively
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Maintain organized and clean store appearance
• Process cash and debit transactions accurately
• Replenish merchandise on store shelves as directed
Requirements:
• Minimum three months prior experience in retail
• Experience with cash registers or debit machines
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move 40 pounds
• Grade 9 education or alternative qualifications
