Position: The Salvation Army Retail Operations Supervisor
Location: Southeastern Alberta (Drumheller)

Enhance community support through retail management as an Assistant Store Manager with The Salvation Army. You will ensure operational efficiency, safety, and excellent customer service in our thrift store.

This pivotal role supports the Store Manager in organizing store operations and supervising staff. Your responsibilities will focus on maintaining an attractive store layout, resolving customer issues, and overseeing inventory management. You'll also play a key role in supporting the training and scheduling of staff to drive sales and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and compliance within store operations

• Plan effective and inviting store layouts

• Handle customer complaints with professionalism

• Guide cash operations and nightly deposits

• Manage inventory control processes for donations

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of retail experience

• Experience with cash handling and registers

• Completion of a specialized Retail Management course

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
