THE ROLE   As an Arena Attendant with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, you will be part of a team proud to provide safe, quality arena facilities to members of the Canadian Armed Forces community. You will take satisfaction seeing them at play and enjoying the facilities.
Daily, you will ensure the ice rink is maintained, dressing rooms are ready and equipment is organized and in proper working order. You will greet visitors, manage access to the facility and answer customer inquiries. You will patrol the facility to ensure rules and regulations are being followed and equipment and facilities are safe for all those that visit.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED     Education, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience
Current CPR and basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In ice rink maintenance
In operating ice rink equipment
In providing customer service
Competencies
Client   focus,   organizational   knowledge,   communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS   English Essential / Bilingual  (English and French)  an asset

OTHER INFORMATION   Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg).
This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
This is a seasonal position with an anticipated term of September - April.
