Backroom Operations Manager

Position: Roots Backroom Operations Manager
Location: Niagara Regional Municipality (Fonthill)

Lead backroom operations for Roots, coordinating stockroom standards, inventory procedures, and sales-floor replenishment for an apparel retail team.
The Stock Manager reports to the Store Manager and protects the operational integrity of the store. You will manage inventory flow systems while training and developing a core stock team. The position emphasizes merchandise processing, organized stock operations, customer understanding, and clear retail presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain organized backroom operations using seasonal standards
Replenish the sales floor with complete product representation
Monitor sell-through, replenishment, and overstock issues
Manage supply orders and inventory-based procedures
Support physical inventory, cycle counts, and shrink reduction
Requirements:
Two or more years of management experience
Retail apparel management experience preferred
Strong presentation skills within a retail environment
Upbeat, optimistic, passionate, and friendly approach
Ability to secure buy-in for ideas and actions
