Description:
CF Industries’ Courtright nitrogen complex south of Sarnia produces ammonia, urea, UAN, and other nitrogen products on a 700-acre industrial site. Security guards monitor access, protect hazardous chemical areas, oversee truck/rail traffic, and support strict safety protocols in a high-risk manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain professionalism, confidence and confidentiality.
· Provide security services at the Courtright CF Complex, maintaining order and the protection of assets, information, and employees onsite.
· Maintain a professional relationship with all personnel and visitors entering the site.
· Communication liaison with CF client contact.
· Participate in EHSQ meetings when required.
· Assist in all duties pertaining to the security main gate when required to do so.
· Track, record, file and e-file FLRAS daily/ inspections
· Assist in guard scheduling when required.
· Assign / Monitor Security Guard training and review.
· Encourage / coach and deter procrastination
· Complete monthly stats & update quarterly/ Yearly totals
· Assist in file retention e-files & physical
· Assist in audits/ audit preparation
· Continuously stay up to date US/ Canadian Border Agency, CTPAT, Canadian Government Agencies, Canadian Coast Guard regulations and laws.
· Responsible for the position of CF site FSO back up. (Facility Security Officer)
· Responsible for overseeing the training of all new guards’ orientation and onboarding.
· Assist in the management of the Courtright Complex Security Management Program.
· Oversee the site access control, issues site access cards and photo IDs as per the site Access Management Program. Ensure profiles are current and up to date information is complete. Complete proper documentation as required. Report any security breaches involving the program.
· Assist in conducting the site Safety Orientation video for approved individuals prior to entry to site or annual renewals. Assist EH&S with Contractor Management Program.
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
· Must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License with current drivers’ abstract report in clear status.
· Must possess a valid First Aid training certificate.
· Must possess a valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods training certificate.
