St. Michaels University Security Officer

Location: Victoria

Ensure safety haels University School in Victoria, BC as a Facilities and Security Officer. This role includes patrols, emergency response, and minor maintenance tasks across multiple campuses.

We are seeking dedicated individuals for 3 permanent part-time and 2 permanent full-time positions. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols to ensure safety, monitoring for suspicious activity, and responding to emergencies after hours. You will also assist with minor maintenance tasks, contributing to a secure learning environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular foot patrols of remarkable campuses

• Monitor for emergencies and suspicious activities

• Secure buildings, ensuring all access points are locked

• Report incidents to supervisors through detailed reporting

• Assist in minor repairs such as painting and light replacements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Two years of security experience with valid license

• Proficiency in minor maintenance and repair tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and walk extensively
