Manager of Security and Emergency Preparedness

Permanent Full-time

• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Investigate and act as security agents for area managers and patrons
• Act as First Responder in Emergency Code Events
• Use audio and video equipment
• Oversee all security and CCTV surveillance issues
• Maintain the administration of security programs
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and changing environment for hospital setting
• Knowledgeable of safety practices, procedures and guidelines
• Possess a friendly and helpful demeanor and disposition
• Open to new ideas and committed to continuous improvement

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent or minimum 1 year in related field
• Security Guard License
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License
• First Aid / CPR Certificate
• Level 2 CPIC
