Night Security

For more than 70 years, Border Paving Ltd. has played a key role in building and maintaining Alberta's infrastructure. The Night Security position is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of Border Paving Ltd.'s facilities, equipment and property after hours. We are looking for a dependable and observant individual who is comfortable working independently and able to respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations.

• Conduct regular patrols of the yards, buildings and equipment storage areas
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity and safety concerns
• Secure gates, buildings, and equipment as required
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies and notify management as required
• Maintain accurate logs of nightly activity and report any concerns
• Work with law enforcement or emergency services when required
• Perform other duties to support site security

• Previous security or related experience is an asset
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgement
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Dependable, punctual with a commitment to safety
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
