Position: Security Officer for Healthcare Environment

Secure a vital role as a Full-Time Healthcare Security Officer at Paladin Security with a unique 4-day on, 4-day off schedule. Focused on ensuring safety and compliance within a hospital environment, this role is integral to community health.

As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will oversee patrolling hospital grounds, monitor surveillance systems, and manage access controls. Responding to emergencies and providing top-notch customer service will also be part of your responsibilities. Strong conflict resolution skills are essential to maintain a peaceful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol hospital grounds regularly for security

• Monitor and report on surveillance footage

• Ensure only authorized personnel access restricted areas

• Quickly respond to emergency situations

• Write detailed reports on incidents and activities

Requirements:

• Obtain Security License for Nova Scotia

• Valid Intermediate First Aid & CPR - Level C

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

• Previous security or relevant experience preferred

• Required certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior
