Senior Commercial Overhead Door & Gate Technician

Location: Victoria

Depend-a-Dor is a local, family owned and operated company. Founded in 1982 to fill the growing demand for commercial and residential overhead door and gate system installations and service. Since then, we have become one of the most experienced and trusted companies in the trade.

We are looking for an experienced OH door and gate technician with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team. Please review this list of skills and qualifications applicable to the garage door and gate trade;

High level of workmanship and attention to detail
Confident using hand and power tools
The ability to troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues
Forklift and aerial platform experience are an asset
Ability to effectively communicate with customer and office personnel
Effectively manage time and resources to complete the required jobs
Able to work unsupervised & in a team enviroment
Must have a valid class 5 drivers license and clean ICBC abstract
Welding & fabrication experience would be an asset
Physically fit & able to lift in excess of 60 lbs
Willingness to work on ladders of a variety of heights
Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements
