Base Wage
: $49.78 - $52.31 per hour. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Elkford, BC. Housing is available.
Schedule: 7x7 Rotation.

What You'll Do:

Supporting both customers and other trades people in the resolution, component repair/rebuild, haul truck/shovel repair, and equipment assembly/repair issues in the effective troubleshooting of equipment.

Installation of new parts and equipment in accordance with generally accepted industry standards, as well as site specific best practices.

Performing component failure analysis to improve the operation of installed parts and equipment

What You Bring:

4th year apprentice or Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal is an asset).

Proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety initiatives

Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and OEM drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts

Requires a thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of Komatsu AC Electric Drive Trucks and other Mining equipment

Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Valid Class 5/G Driver’s License

This position is classified as an Individual Contributor
