POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

Located in the heart of the new Solar district in Brossard, Jazz Brossard is delighted to welcome a wonderful clientele, both independent and those experiencing a loss of autonomy. A warm and friendly atmosphere prevails, where we all feel right  are currently seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and passionate recreation leader.

This is a permanent part-time position, 20 hours per week, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and one variable weekday as needed, with some evenings required for special events.

ROLE AND

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the leisure manager in their duties

Carry out all related tasks requested by the recreation manager

Collaborate with the different departments of the residence to make things easier for everyone

Disseminate the activities calendar to residents

Recreation

Animate and oversee supervision during the activities

Decorating the premises for special events

Promote activities related to the residents

Welcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activities

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Training related to the leisure sector (an asset)

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset)

Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset

Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar position
