Position: Full-Time Caseworker at The Salvation Army
Location: Fort Providence

Become a Full-Time Caseworker with The Salvation Army, addressing the needs of individuals in the correctional system. Use your skills in a supportive environment focused on rehabilitation and social service.

In this role, you’ll conduct assessments, manage client cases, and facilitate programs to aid individuals facing reintegration challenges. Your background in Social Services or Corrections will enable you to develop effective support plans, engage in crisis interventions, and maintain client confidentiality. Work collaboratively with diverse populations to foster community well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain case files for clients

• Conduct client interviews and intakes as needed

• Develop and implement individualized goals and plans

• Facilitate group therapy and support sessions

• File reports and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

• College Diploma in Social Services or related field

• One year of experience in social services or corrections

• Willingness to obtain crisis intervention training

• Valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver’s license

• Clean Criminal Records Check required
