CMHA Kelowna is seeking a full-time Employment Specialist for a 12-month term. The candidate will manage a caseload, utilizing the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Model to create personalized plans for clients. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for navigating challenges and promoting successful job placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess employment and education readiness of clients

• Provide job and education coaching to ensure quality requirements

• Offer intensive job retention support when needed

• Network with employers and educational institutions in the area

• Develop tailored accommodation plans to meet client needs

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Services or related field required

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience needed

• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license required

• Strong advocacy and interpersonal skills essential

• Criminal Record Check clearance in the Vulnerable Sector
