Location: Central Alberta (Stettler)

Provide compassionate care as a Youth Care Worker at Unlimited Potential Community Services in Ponoka, AB. This full-time role focuses on supporting children and youth with emotional and behavioral challenges.

In this vital role, you will join a dedicated team committed to empowering youth aged 13-17. With a diploma/degree in Child Youth Care or Social Work, you’ll bring experience in engaging vulnerable populations. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment and developing individual treatment plans while incorporating cultural sensitivities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and assess individual service plans regularly

• Facilitate daily activities and therapeutic interventions

• Ensure a safe and supportive group home environment

• Promote effective communication with youth and families

• Record observations and behaviors accurately

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Child Youth Care, Social Work preferred

• Minimum one year of youth work experience

• Strong understanding of cultural impacts on treatment

• Clear Police Information Check, Child Intervention Record Check

• Alberta driver's license with no more than 8 demerits
