Position: Case Worker for Employment Readiness Services
Location: La Ronge

Become a Pre-Employment Case Worker focused on enhancing the employability of First Nations clients aged 18-64 receiving Income Assistance. This position emphasizes comprehensive assessments and collaboration.

In this role, you'll oversee a caseload of clients, identifying their individual employment barriers and working on Action Plans to improve their job readiness. Your background in social sciences and experience counseling First Nations individuals will be vital. You'll coordinate case management support, ensuring clients are referred to the right training and other services they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate client employability and individual needs

• Identify and reduce barriers to employment

• Develop strategic Action Plans for clients

• Coordinate all necessary case management services

• Refer clients to training or support programs

Requirements:

• Degree in social sciences is mandatory

• Minimum one year of relevant counseling experience

• Effective communication and people skills required

• Knowledge of Cree language beneficial

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
